Imagine - What would you do when you have a medically fragile child and you wish to return to work? And how will you ever afford such specialized care?
World of Care, operated by Kennedy Krieger’s PACT (Parents and Children Together), is the ONLY specialized medical daycare in Central Maryland. It has a sliding scale for medically fragile children, but the cost of care usually exceeds a family’s ability to fully pay for that care.
PACT accepts children ages 6 weeks to 5 years who have one or more medical diagnoses that would make it impossible for them to enroll in a typical daycare. In fact, over 73% of those enrolled have 2-3 medical diagnoses.
