CARD Social Skills Groups: A Review of Strategies and Resources for Parents and Professionals

The presentation will explore social skills development with children and adolescents with autism. Using the latest research, the presenter will help parents and professionals identify strategies that can help them foster social skills development. An overview of CARD social skills groups and community resources will be provided.

Presenter:

Jen Horton, LCSW-C is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience working with children with Autism in both school and clinic-based settings. She currently offers individual, family, and group therapy at CARD and enjoys working with children and adolescents.
