Encouraging your child to use both hands simultaneously is important right from the start. Our next several blog posts will feature various toys that can help your child focus on different two-handed skills.

Before presenting your child with a new toy, try it out yourself. See where your hands naturally go when you grasp and play with it. Then, encourage your child to emulate your hand placement.

It may initially be difficult for your child to replicate your hand positions, but continue practicing with them until they feel comfortable doing so and are successfully able to use both their left and right hand together.

The toys pictured will require your child to focus on pulling their hands apart, as well as pushing them together.

Purchase any of these toys to help your child improve their hand movements, all while having fun.
