About
Dr, Benjamin J. Schindel is a neurodevelopmental specialist in the Department of Neurology and Developmental Medicine at Kennedy Krieger Institute. He is also an assistant professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Schindel earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University. He later received a Master of Public Health from SUNY Downstate School of Public Health, along with a medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Schindel completed a residency in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital, and a fellowship in Kennedy Krieger's Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency Program.
Research
Dr. Schindel's areas of focus include suicide prevention and medical education.
