Dr. Catherine Stephan is a licensed clinical psychologist. She rejoined the Department of Neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2024. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adolescents and young adults who have neurodevelopmental and medical conditions that affect cognitive functioning, primarily through the Congenital/Genetic Conditions Clinic.

Education

Dr. Stephan received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Davidson College. Following graduation, she was a research assistant in Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Department of Neuropsychology for two years. She went on to earn her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a Major Area of Study in Neuropsychology, from Drexel University in 2022. She completed both her doctoral internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Through her training and professional experience, she has worked with patients across the lifespan, and has developed a specific area of focus supporting adolescents and young adults who have complex medical conditions transition to adulthood.
