About
Dr. Christina Dandar is a postdoctoral fellow in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Dandar received her bachelor’s in psychology from Kalamazoo College. She received her master’s degree and then went on to earn her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University. Dr. Dandar completed an APA-accredited internship in pediatric neuropsychology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, University of Tennessee Professional Psychology Internship Consortium.
Research
Dr. Dandar’s prior research has focused on the influence of perinatal risk factors and early brain insult/vulnerability on neurocognitive outcomes. A portion of her research has also focused on identifying early predictors of neurocognitive outcome in children and adolescents with sickle cell disease.
