About
Dr. Erika Wesonga is a licensed psychologist in Maryland who joined the Neuropsychology Department at Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2021. She provides neuropsychological evaluation services for children, adolescents and young adults with a variety of medical and neurodevelopmental conditions, primarily within the Congenital/Genetic Conditions Clinic in the Neuropsychology Department’s outpatient program. Dr. Wesonga is committed to providing patient and family-centered care to promote better outcomes for youth with diverse abilities and learning needs.
Education
Dr. Wesonga received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and completed a predoctoral internship in pediatric neuropsychology and pediatric psychology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She then went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Emory University School of Medicine and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
