Education

Dr. Duncan received her undergraduate degree in Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons and Elementary Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing for four years on the Eastern Shore of Maryland before completing her externship at Texas Children’s Hospital and earning her doctorate in Audiology from Gallaudet University. Dr. Duncan spent 5 years working at Children’s Hospital Colorado before relocating back to Maryland. She has always had an interest in working with the pediatric population of all ages and stages of development. She continues her focus on early identification, treatment and prevention of hearing loss.
