Dr. Morgan Bifano is a licensed psychologist with the Pediatric Psychology Program in the Department of Behavioral Psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She also staffs several medical subspecialty clinics, including the multidisciplinary Sleep Disorders Clinic and Lab at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Pediatric Diabetes Clinic at Johns Hopkins Children Center. Dr. Bifano is an instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Bifano received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Loyola University of Maryland. She completed her internship with University of Louisville’s School of Medicine at Norton Children’s Hospital. She completed her two yearlong fellowships at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine’s Child and Family Therapy and Pediatric Psychology Consultation Clinics. She is a professional member of the Society for Pediatric Psychology and National Register of Health Psychologists. Dr. Bifano is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland and Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT).
Research
Dr. Bifano’s training and research have focused on the development and evaluation of interventions to promote coping and adjustment to acute and chronic medical concerns for children and families. Her professional mission includes extending access to care to specialized populations, such as military families, and to promote interdisciplinary care to individuals across the development.
