About
Dr. Tashya Wilson is a pediatric psychologist who first joined Kennedy Krieger Institute's Department of Neuropsychology in August 2022. She works with children and families living with chronic health and medical conditions, helping parents and caregivers develop skills to navigate through emotional and behavioral challenges. Dr. Wilson joined the Office for Health Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (O-HEID) in November 2023. She is committed to social justice and closing the gap in minority medical and mental health disparities.
Education
Dr. Wilson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from Howard University in Washington, DC. She earned her doctoral degree from American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Wilson completed her predoctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, where she served as chief resident.
