The Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities hosted its second virtual Summer Learning Series, consisting of live, interactive webinars, from early June through July. The workshops featured interdisciplinary topics focused on working with students, children, youth and individuals who have intellectual, developmental and other disabilities, and their family members.
The Summer Learning Series welcomed a range of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, school counselors, educators, care coordinators, case managers, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, faith leaders and community members, to expand their skills and knowledge while engaging in effective advocacy.
