Meet Ali, father of five, including 21-year-old Fadel, who has cerebral palsy.
Ali, who has been very hands-on with his son’s care, describes himself as “Fadel’s doctor for 21 years.” When Fadel was misdiagnosed as a child, Ali made it his mission to find answers and get his son the help he needed. In fact, Ali left a high-powered career in Morocco to move his family to the U.S. and ensure that Fadel received the best treatment possible. When asked if it was a difficult decision to uproot his life, Ali says without pause, “No. Fadel is my priority and the priority of my family.”
Now, Fadel is making strides as a patient at our Phelps Center for Cerebral Palsy.
