About

Ms. Little is the director of administrative operations for the Officer of Health, Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (O-HEID) and the Center for Excellence in Public Health Leadership at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She has over 30 years of experience managing grants and contracts for federal, state, local, nonprofit, and higher education organizations. Most of her experience has been in health services education. Ms. Little is intentional about mentorship, recruitment and community engagement. She ensures smooth operations and communications with Kennedy Krieger grants management, partner contracting, data acquisition, predictive financial analytics, strategic planning, coaches, fellows and early faculty. She reinforces internal efficiency goals and high customer service standards and encourages an empowering work environment. She has developed and implemented program plans, including timelines, budgets and resource allocation. She also monitors and evaluates program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement, and communicates program updates and progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership and ensures compliance with program regulations and guidelines.  Ms. Little is meticulously resilient and responsive to inquiries and solutions-orientated program initiatives.  She continuously researches and analyzes industry trends, recommending program enhancements as necessary, and oversees relationships with program partners and vendors. 

Education

Ms. Little attended the University of Maryland Global Campus and graduated Summa Cun Laude with a Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Health Services Management.  Because of her passion for advocacy to address health disparities among underrepresented populations, she pursued a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Maryland, Global Campus.  Early in her studies, she began her college education at Morgan State University and sought a certification in Managerial Finance. In the spring of 2025, Ms. Little intends to pursue another MS in Social Work.
