Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities:
2024 Annual Learning Series
Connecting Home, School, and Community
Series Overview
The Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) is hosting a 2024 Annual Learning Series. The series consist of half-day and 2 or less hour workshops with interdisciplinary topics focused on working with students and individuals with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities and their families. The Annual Learning Series will help a range of professionals (e.g., teachers, social workers, psychologists, nurses, care providers, paraprofessionals, case managers, speech, physical, and occupational therapists, school counselors, care management staff, faith leaders, community members, parents, students, and others) to expand their knowledge and skills to engage in effective advocacy.
Our top priority is the health and well-being of our community. We will hold live, real-time, interactive webinars to align with current social distancing policies and to protect the health and safety of our community.
We are committed to bringing high quality trainings to our professionals and community members and will offer up to 3.0 Category I CEUs to psychologists and social workers for most workshops. A certificate of attendance will be made available for all other disciplines.
For more information on our Annual Learning Series or sponsoring a workshop, please call Dr. Mirian Ofonedu at 443-923-9555 or email Training.MCDD@KennedyKrieger.org.
