Emily Baker, MS is an early intervention specialist at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™). She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Educational Studies from Colgate University, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Emily has worked at CASSI providing direct intervention and coaching to children, parents, and teachers since 2007. 

Emily has been working with teachers to help them support diverse learners during classroom activities for over a decade. She has been a coach on multiple federally-funded grants where her primary role has been providing professional development to child care providers who have children with developmental disabilities or delays in their inclusive community-based childcare settings. She enjoys partnering with teachers to find ways to make group book reading time more engaging and to make books come alive for all students.
