Here is a link to a video that talks about the impacts a spinal cord injury can have on erection as well as suggestions to use: Erections — Sexuality after SCI (sexualitysci.org)
Most men with SCI will respond well to the choices of medication which enhance the quality and duration of erection and may increase the frequency of reflex and psychogenic erections.
Other choices for erection enhancement include the use of a vacuum erection device (VED), penile rings when erections can be obtained but not maintained, catheter manipulation and application of restrictive bands at the base of the penis, penile injections, and surgical penile prosthesis. More information on these options can be found on pages 3-5 of this PDF created by Craig Hospital: 785.Sexual-Function-for-Men-After-Spinal-Cord-Injury.pdf (craighospital.org)
More information on sexual aids can also be found on this website created by the United Spinal Association: Sexual Aids - United Spinal Association
If erections are inadequate for sexual intercourse, the stuffing technique could be used to insert a flaccid or semi-erect penis into a partner or sex toy. This technique may be sexually satisfying for a partner and also help stimulate and maintain reflex erections in a partially erect penis.
It is important to explore your options with your doctor who may also want to refer you to a specialist to discuss the safest, and best options.
